Portugal legend Antonio Simoes accused Cristiano Ronaldo of being selfish as he seeks to become the first player in the game’s history to score 1000 times for club and country.
Ronaldo, 41, is 21 strikes away from reaching the milestone, which he could do sometime next year. However, the striker has had a less than stellar start to the season, scoring thrice in eight games for club and country. That includes a lone outing for the Selecao in their 1-0 UEFA Nations League victory over Wales in Lisbon last month.
