It took Dillon Brooks less than five minutes into tonight’s preseason game against the Detroit Pistons to pick up the new campaign right where he left off the old one. Brooks was involved in an early altercation with John Collins during the Phoenix Suns’ preseason opener.
While battling for a rebound in the opening quarter, Collins secured an offensive board before Brooks was called for a foul. Collins appeared to find the contact unnecessary and escalated the situation by grabbing his opponent by the throat.
