Denmark striker Rasmus Hojlund, after performing a Cristiano Ronaldo-style celebration, was seen pushing Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus following the 4-2 loss to the Selecao in Copenhagen on Thursday (October 1).
Much of the build-up to the UEFA Nations League encounter between the holders and Denmark revolved around Ronaldo’s reported rift with Jesus. The 41-year-old attacker left the Selecao camp a day before the game amid reports that he felt betrayed by Jesus, who was supposed to publicly apologise for not playing Ronaldo in the 2-1 win over Norway in Oslo last week but reneged on his promise.
