The Minnesota Vikings have moved on from J.J. McCarthy, but NFL analyst Mike Florio believes they still have a stake in how his career turns out. On Tuesday on “Pro Football Talk,” Florio said the team is quietly hoping the quarterback does not flourish after being traded to the New York Giants.
Florio called McCarthy’s selection with the No. 10 pick in the 2024 draft a mistake. He said the Vikings were right not to double down on it.
