Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus has opened up about Cristiano Ronaldo not featuring in their game against Norway. He said that he told the 41-year-old that he would play, but decided against it during the game.
Cristiano Ronaldo started in A Selecao’s UEFA Nations League 2026-27 opener against Wales at home on September 24. Joao Felix’s 22nd-minute goal gave them a 1-0 win. The legendary forward, however, was benched in their 2-1 win over Norway at Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo on Sunday.
