New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani received a signed jersey of Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard from Norway Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store during a meeting earlier this week.
Odegaard was a part of the Norway team that had a historic run at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Mexico and Canada. Stale Solbakken’s side celebrated their return to the competition after 28 years by reaching the quarter-finals for the first time, losing 2-1 to England in extra time.
