Manchester United legend Gary Neville has warned Michael Carrick that several of his attacking players could end up hurting the team this season, arguing that the Red Devils currently lack the defensive balance needed to compete consistently.
Speaking after the 1-1 draw with Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday, Neville claimed Carrick has too many attack-minded players in his lineup, singling out Bryan Mbeumo, Marcus Rashford, Youri Tielemans and Kobbie Mainoo as examples of individuals whose qualities are stronger on the ball than off it.
