Casemiro has named Inter Miami teammate Lionel Messi as his top choice for the 2026 Ballon d’Or, saying “anything is possible” with the Argentine.
Speaking after Inter Miami’s 2-0 win over Cruz Azul in the Campeones Cup final, Casemiro was asked about the possibility of Messi winning a ninth Ballon d’Or award, to which the Brazilian midfielder said:
