Coming off a solid 2024 season with the San Francisco Giants, the LA Dodgers added Blake Snell to their already stacked starting rotation, signing the two-time Cy Young award winner to a five-year, $182 million contract.
Snell has lived up to the hype, and he played a key role in helping the Dodgers win the 2025 World Series. However, repeated run-ins with injury have limited his playing time.
The southpaw has already been on the injured list twice this year, and it appears he could be set for another stint on the sidelines, as he had to exit the Dodgers’ game against the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday after pitching only one inning, wherein he threw 19 pitches.
