Former Manchester City star and football pundit Micah Richards reckons that Arsenal would be ‘almost complete’ if they had managed to sign Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez this summer. Richards also questioned whether the Gunners had the attacking personnel to win their maiden UEFA Champions League title following their 1-0 win over Napoli on September 9.
Arsenal had an excellent 2025-26 campaign, winning the Premier League title and reaching the Champions League final, which they narrowly lost to PSG. They have bolstered their squad over the summer, signing the likes of Christos Tzolis, Bruno Guimaraes, Ezri Konsa, and Illan Meslier. However, they also offloaded several attackers like Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard.
