Iga Swiatek’s US Open campaign came to an end in the fourth round, with her losing to Zheng Qinwen in a tight two-set encounter 7-5, 6-3. The Pole had in fact led her opponent 5-0 in the opening set but managed to win only three games from that point on.
After the disappointing loss, an interaction between her coach and a fan made its way to social media. The short clip posted by the supporter sitting right behind Swiatek’s box showed her coach Francois Roig asking him to maintain silence right between points.
