Rafael van der Vaart has criticized Trent Alexander-Arnold’s display in Real Madrid‘s 2-1 win over Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League. The former Los Blancos attacking midfielder added that he didn’t enjoy watching Alexander-Arnold.
Speaking to Ziggo Sport, Van der Vaart said that the Englishman always drifted out of his position and looked unfit to play. He added that Alexander-Arnold’s decision-making was questionable and he lost possession of the ball cheaply, saying (via METRO):
