Taiwanese doubles star Hao-Ching Chan fired back at Jelena Ostapenko and Hsieh Su-wei after their heated US Open clash, accusing the Taiwanese tennis player of deliberate physical contact and sabotaging behaviour. The US Open face-off was marked by several heated moments between the players and the coaching staff.
Chan refused to exchange the customary handshake with Su-wei, who accused the former’s team of making disturbing comments about her and her partner during the match. Chan and Su-wei have a long-standing feud, with the latter reportedly stating that the Chinese Taipei Tennis Association has given preferential treatment to the 32-year-old and her sister.
