Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs kicked off their 2026 X1 DOL Super Cup campaign in emphatic fashion with a convincing 4-1 victory over Real Tamale United at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
The Mysterious Boys made a blistering start, with Nathaniel Appiah opening the scoring in the 4th minute before Sylvester Doku doubled their advantage in the 42nd minute to give Dwarfs a 2-0 lead at the break. Real Tamale United pulled one back shortly after the restart through Rahim Akanta from the penalty spot in the 47th minute, but Osei Bright Kelvin restored Ebusua Dwarfs’ two-goal cushion in the 57th minute.
Emmanuel Osei then sealed a commanding win with a stoppage-time strike in the 90+4th minute to wrap up an impressive performance. The result sees Ebusua Dwarfs go top of Group A after Matchday 1, following Debibi United’s 3-3 draw with Attram De Visser in the morning’s opening fixture.
