GFA Elite Academy ended the Elite U17 Girls Cup with a narrow 1:0 win over Upper West Region.
The Elite Academy dropped points in their opening matches but got on the positive foot by picking up maximum points.
Adombila Romina scored the only goal to give the Elite Academy the maximum points.
Eastern Region handed Ashanti Region their second defeat of the championship. Lukisia Ntoso scored with the last kick to give her side the deserved win.
Rosemond Twumwaa scored twice to inspire Central Region to complete a comeback against Upper East Region. Ayambire Amanda pulled one back for Upper East to end the game 2:1 in favour of Central Region.
Brong Ahafo Scored Greater Accra 1:0 to make it to the final of the Elite U17 Girls Championship.
Mercy Akilvoa scored the only goal to ensure Brong Ahafo continue their unbeaten run in the championship.
Northern Region continued their impressive run by defeating Volta Region 2:0.
Salwa Sulemana and Ruhia Mohammed scored in both halves to set up a final with Brong Ahafo Region.
The final of the Elite U17 Girls Championship will be played between Brong Ahafo and Northern Region on Tuesday, August 4th 2026 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
