The group pairings for the 2026 Elite U-17 Girls Colts Championship have been confirmed ahead of the tournament, which will take place from July 30 to August 4, 2026, at the GFA Technical Center in Prampram.
Ten regional champions, together with the Elite Academy, have been drawn into two groups for the six-day competition.
Group A features Greater Accra, Brong Ahafo, Upper East, Central and Western Regions, while Group B comprises Northern, Ashanti, Upper West, Eastern, Volta Regions and the Elite Academy.
The championship is a key component of the GFA’s women’s football development strategy under the FIFA Talent Development Scheme, providing young players with a platform to showcase their abilities and compete at the highest level of youth football.
The tournament is expected to unearth emerging talents while promoting grassroots football development across the country.
