The Black Stars held their final training session at Bryant University on Monday as Carlos Queiroz’s side completed preparations for Tuesday’s World Cup Group L match against England at Gillette Stadium in Boston.
Morale is high in the Ghana camp after opening the tournament with a 1-0 win over Panama at BMO Stadium in Toronto. Queiroz’s men trained in front of media at the Bryant University pitch, with intensity and focus evident as they gear up for a pivotal clash with England.
There was a double boost for the Black Stars. Thomas Partey is back in the squad after missing the Panama victory and trained fully with the team. Goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi also joined the session despite limping out of the opener against Panama, offering hope he could be available for selection.
Both Ghana and England sit on three points in Group L heading into Tuesday’s match at Gillette Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4:00 PM ET.
Photos from the Bryant University session were captured by photographer Emmanuel Osei.
