The meeting attracted significant attention as it took place just hours before Cox’s anticipated Test debut against New Zealand, scheduled to begin on July 17. Photographs of the two cricketers chatting at a London restaurant quickly went viral on social media.
Kohli enjoyed another productive IPL season, scoring 675 runs, while Cox did not feature in a single match for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
