Matchday two of the elite U15 girls’ championship delivered a thrilling blend of narrow victories, dramatic collapses, and penalty shootout heartbreak.

On the FIFA pitch, Upper East suffered a narrow 1–2 defeat to Central Region, despite a spirited performance that ultimately fell short against their opponents.

Over on the betPawa pitch, Elite Academy Bolga endured a painful morning as they lost to Volta Region, with Issaka Fuseina inadvertently scoring an own goal before Ekemegbe Nice doubled the damage to seal a comfortable win for Volta.

Greater Accra played out a breathtaking 3–3 draw with Upper West, only to see their hopes crushed in the ensuing penalty shootout, where Upper West triumphed 4–2 to snatch an extra point from the chaos.

Western Region fell to Northern Region, who had Sulemana Rashida break the deadlock in the 23rd minute, before Rashida Alidu doubled the advantage just two minutes later, leaving Western with no way back.

Ashanti Region secured a hard-fought win over Eastern Region, with Abigail Obeng scoring the only goal of the contest in the 19th minute to ensure all three points stayed with Ashanti.
