India enjoyed a memorable day at the Singapore Open 2026 as the men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty stormed into the final with a stunning victory over the world No. 1 pair.

The Indian duo produced one of their finest performances of the season to defeat the top-ranked pair, who had not lost a match in 2026 before the semifinal clash. The defeat also ended their remarkable 34-match winning streak stretching back to last year.

The victory keeps India’s hopes of a title alive at one of the most prestigious tournaments on the BWF World Tour and marks another significant milestone in Satwik and Chirag’s comeback season.
