IPL 2026, Video of the Day: Deepak Chahar cheats for his chit celebration after wicket in KKR vs MI clash

After catching the big fish of Finn Allen in the KKR vs MI clash at the Eden Gardens, Deepak Chahar grabbed eyeballs for his unique celebration, as he faked taking a chit note out of his pocket and even flaunted a non-existent thing for the shutterbugs in Match 65 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Wednesday, May 18.

Chahar had come in to open the attack for Mumbai Indians as they aimed to defend a target of 148 against the hosts. To start with, Allen took the ace pacer for a couple of boundaries to show the charge right away. However, the MI bowler kept his cool and enjoyed the last laugh, riding through the defence of Allen on the final ball of the over with an inswinging pearler that nipped back into the KKR opener.

As the stumps went cartwheeling, Chahar followed the trend of players taking out notes from their pockets after a landmark moment in the match, but with a twist attached to it.
