The Gujarat Titans host the Chennai Super Kings in Match 66 of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Thursday, May 21.

The Titans return to their home ground after a disappointing loss to Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens. With eight wins in 13 matches, Gujarat sit comfortably at the second position in the table with 16 points, having already secured their place in the playoffs. They will look to finish the league stage on a high to seal a top-two finish.

The Super Kings have had a mixed season and are fighting to stay alive in the tournament. With 12 points from 13 games, they find themselves in a must-win situation in this final league match to keep their playoff qualification hopes alive.

The two teams last met on April 26 at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, where the Titans emerged victorious by eight wickets. The Super Kings were restricted to 158 for 7 despite Ruturaj Gaikwad’s fighting 74 off 60 balls. The Titans chased down the target with comfort, anchored by Sai Sudharsan’s blistering 46-ball 87.
