The Rajasthan Royals (RR) take on the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Match 64 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Tuesday, May 19.

This is the Royals’ final home game of IPL 2026, and they have lost three of the three games played in Jaipur. Riyan Parag’s men come into this clash on the back of a five-wicket loss to the Delhi Capitals on May 17. With 12 points in 12 games, they will need wins in their final two matches to stake a claim for the playoffs.

The Lucknow Super Giants come into this clash on the back of a dominant seven-wicket win against the Chennai Super Kings on May 15. With eight points in 12 matches, they sit at the foot of the table and have already been eliminated. With two games remaining, they will be looking to finish their season on a high.

Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur: Pitch report

The three games played at the Sawai Manshing Stadium have seen the teams batting first put up totals of over 220. Two of those instances saw the totals chased down successfully, while the third game saw the Titans defend it courtesy of brilliant bowling.

The batting becomes significantly easier under floodlights, with more consistent bounce on offer. The square boundaries are relatively longer than the straight boundaries, making scoring runs down the ground significantly easier.

RR vs LSG Strategies and Match-ups

The two teams have met seven times in the IPL, with the Royals dominating the matchup with a 5-2 lead. They were victorious in dominant fashion when these two sides last met at the Ekana Stadium on April 27. The inaugural champions, put into bat, put up a total of 159/6 with a late cameo for 43 from Ravindra Jadeja. They blew the Super Giants apart, bowling them out for 119 to win by 40 runs.

The Royals are in desperate need of victories, finding themselves in a position where a loss could spell the end for their playoff hopes. The Super Giants could once more play spoilsport to the playoff hopes of a team, having already beaten the Super Kings. With the circumstances surrounding the game, this promises to be an entertaining high-stakes clash.
