Kagiso Rabada looked fired up after dismissing Abhishek Sharma in his very first over during the clash between Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2026 on May 12 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The breakthrough came in the second over of the innings when Rabada bowled a sharp delivery angled around the leg stump. Abhishek stepped down the track looking to attack but got cramped for room while attempting an aggressive shot. The left-handed batter tried to carve the ball away but only managed an inside edge, which deflected off his thigh pad and rolled back onto the stumps.
Rabada celebrated passionately after the dismissal, especially after being hit for a six on the previous delivery. The wicket gave GT an excellent start as SRH lost both openers cheaply in the powerplay.
