With five wins and five defeats from 10 games, the Super Kings are stationed at No. 6 on the points table. They need at least three wins from their last four matches to make it to the playoffs.
Lucknow Super Giants, on the other hand, are hanging by a thread as far as their playoff aspirations are concerned. They managed to end their six-match losing run in the last game after defeating the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in a high-scoring thriller.

Nicholas Pooran has finally found form. The southpaw has registered scores of 63 (21) and 38 (23) in the last two games against the Mumbai Indians and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Pooran will look to take on the CSK spinners in the middle overs.
Noor Ahmad, on the other hand, has been brilliant through the middle of the innings. He hasn’t been as consistent as he was last season. However, he has played crucial roles in some of the games that Chennai have won in IPL 2026.
