Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are set to take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday, May 10, in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.

CSK have been in solid form recently, winning five of their last seven matches, and currently occupy the sixth spot on the points table. Riding the momentum from their previous two victories, the five-time champions will aim to continue their strong run and register their sixth win of the season.

Meanwhile, LSG gained some much-needed confidence after defeating Royal Challengers Bengaluru by nine runs in their previous outing. However, the Rishabh Pant-led side remains at the bottom of the standings with three wins and seven defeats, making this clash crucial for keeping their slim playoff hopes alive.

In the head-to-head record, Lucknow Super Giants hold a slight edge over Chennai Super Kings, winning three of their six encounters. This advantage could boost the visitors’ confidence. Both sides will aim to deliver strong performances and secure a crucial victory to improve their chances of qualifying for the next stage.
