It is always a heated affair when the Lucknow Super Giants take on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL. This occasion’s clash in Match 50 of the 2026 season saw Nicholas Pooran and Krunal Pandya engaged in a tense exchange in the middle.

Pooran, coming in in the tenth over of the game, was welcomed to the middle with two bouncers from Krunal Pandya. The first one was left alone, and Pooran had to play an awkward shot to get the next one away for a single. On getting to the other end, there were words exchanged between Pooran and Pandya, with the West Indies batter even getting up close to Krunal.
