Suryakumar and his wife Devisha Shetty are expecting the delivery of their first baby, which is the reason the MI vice-captain may not be available to feature in the all-important clash.
Suryakumar being unavailable due to familial commitments and Hardik Pandya still recuperating from a back spasm means that MI might play with their third captain of the season against RCB on Sunday. Suryakumar had led Mumbai against the Lucknow Super Giants as Hardik picked up a back spasm. With both cricketers expected to be out of the RCB clash, ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah is the frontrunner to lead.
