Gujarat Titans (GT) continued their upward surge in the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) with a four-wicket win over Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match 46 at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, May 3.

After being asked to bat first, PBKS posted 163/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Suryansh Shedge top-scored with an attacking 57 off 29 deliveries, while Marcus Stoinis chipped in with a solid 40. However, wickets at regular intervals prevented the visitors from building sustained momentum. For GT, Jason Holder stood out with a four-wicket haul, while Kagiso Rabada and Mohammed Siraj claimed two wickets apiece.

In response, GT chased down the target in 19.5 overs, finishing at 167/6. Sai Sudharsan anchored the innings with a composed 57, while Washington Sundar played a decisive unbeaten knock of 40 to guide the team home. Jos Buttler also contributed with a handy 26, ensuring the chase stayed on track despite a few setbacks.

The win further strengthens GT’s position in the points table as they continue to push for a playoff spot.
