The Football Association has announced the start date for the 2026/27 Access Bank Division One League.

The campaign will get underway over the weekend of September 18–21, 2026, with opening fixtures scheduled across all three zones.

The season is expected to run through to May 24, 2027, spanning a total of 30 match weekends.

In line with the league’s structure, all matches will be played on weekends, with no official midweek fixtures scheduled.

The league will once again serve as a crucial pathway for clubs aspiring to reach the top flight, with qualification spots up for grabs at the end of the campaign.

Teams will be aiming to secure promotion to the Premier League for the subsequent season, making every match a high-stakes encounter.

The early confirmation of the calendar provides clubs and stakeholders with ample time to prepare, reinforcing the GFA’s commitment to organization, competitiveness and the continued development of Ghanaian football.
