Priyansh Arya laced his 29 off 11 with a beautiful six over extra cover during the PBKS vs RR clash at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, New Chandigarh, on Tuesday, April 28 in Match 40 of the Indian Premier League 2026. However, a shot that was a treat to watch became a nightmare for an aged fan in attendance at the venue, as the ball landed right on the fan’s face, leaving the nose bloodied.

A clip has been doing rounds on social media, as the old man, seemingly a sexagenarian, was covering his face with hands in an attempt to stop the bleeding, while the co-spectators around him were seen helping him. The man seemed to have copped a blow right between his nose and right eye. A fellow fan also took out his handkerchief and applied it to the bloodied face, showing a great gesture of humanity.

Check the viral video of Priyansh Arya’s sixer that bloodied the aged fan here:

Hope @PunjabKingsIPL provides him all the medical help.
