Ghana is among the participating nations at the ongoing CAF / WAFU B Women’s Football Administrators Workshop currently taking place in Abuja, Nigeria.

The three-day strategic workshop, which opened on April 26 and will conclude on April 28, 2026, has brought together women football administrators from across the West B Zone for high-level discussions centered on leadership, the realities of the various zones and member associations, and future perspectives for the growth of women’s football in the region.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening women’s leadership in African football while supporting football federations in their structural development projects.

Representing the Ghana Football Association (GFA) at the workshop are Hannah Ofosua Asare from the National Teams Department and Jennifer Amankwaa Sarpong, Head of Women’s Football Development.

Their participation reflects Ghana’s commitment to advancing women’s football administration and ensuring stronger structures for the development of the game at both national and regional levels.

The Abuja workshop is expected to provide valuable insights and strategies that will help shape the future of the sport in the WAFU-B zone and beyond.
