Runaway leaders Tamale City FC were held to a thrilling 2–2 draw with Sankara Nationals in an intense Zone One A clash at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Sunday. After a goalless first half, Sylvester Biyandal put the visitors ahead in the 56th minute. Tamale City FC responded in the 68th minute through Obeng Enoch to restore parity. The hosts then took control late on, with Sherif Salifu firing them into a 2–1 lead in the 86th minute. However, Sankara Nationals showed great resilience as Faisal Yakubu struck two minutes later to level the game and secure a share of the spoils.

Real Tamale United fall to Northern City FC

Former Premier League side Real Tamale United FC continued their inconsistent run, failing to register a win in their last three matches (D1, L2) after a 3–2 home defeat to city rivals Northern City FC — who are battling relegation — at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Mohammed Kamil gave Northern City FC an early lead in the 5th minute before Musah Alhassan restored parity for RTU two minutes later to send the game into halftime at 1–1.

After the break, an own goal by Hassan Abdul Rahman in the 50th minute put the visitors back in front. RTU responded again in the 71st minute through a superb strike from Abdulai Abdul Rashid to make it 2–2. However, Isaac Acheampong delivered the decisive blow five minutes later, scoring the winner for Northern City FC. Despite the defeat, Real Tamale United FC remain second in Zone One A with 47 points.

Debibi United FC hold KAC Soccer Academy in goalless draw

Zone One B champions Debibi United FC maintained their strong momentum with a goalless draw against KAC Soccer Academy at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Sunday. Both sides created several promising chances, particularly in the second half, but neither team could find the finishing touch in a tightly contested encounter. Debibi United FC have now accumulated 60 points from 27 matches this season.
