Essiam Socrates Ladies have been crowned champions of the Central Regional Women’s Division One League after defeating Mfantsiman Royal Ladies 2–0 in the “Champion of Champions” clash on Sunday afternoon at the Enyan Abaasa AstroTurf.

The decisive encounter brought together the two zonal winners of the league phase, with both sides eager to establish supremacy and claim the ultimate regional bragging rights. Essiam Socrates Ladies rose to the occasion with a disciplined and determined performance to seal the victory.

Alberta Adjei opened the scoring for Essiam Socrates Ladies with a well-taken effort that gave her side the early advantage. The goal energized the team and allowed them to control large spells of the match as they pushed to extend their lead.

Angela Akuoko later added the second goal to put the result beyond doubt, ensuring Essiam Socrates Ladies maintained their dominance until the final whistle. Their solid defensive display prevented Mfantsiman Royal Ladies from mounting a comeback.

The victory confirms Essiam Socrates Ladies as the undisputed champions of the Central Regional Women’s Division One League, following an impressive campaign in which both finalists had earlier emerged winners of their respective zones during the league phase.
