The Gujarat Titans (GT) will battle it out against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Match 25 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL). Two sides have some excellent T20 players in their ranks, making it a highly anticipated clash in this year’s tournament.

GT are on a two-match winning run after beating the Delhi Capitals and the Lucknow Super Giants on their trip of North India. The 2022 champions return to Ahmedabad for only the second time this season. They did, however, lose to the Rajasthan Royals in their last home game.

KKR, on the other hand, are slowly losing ground on the rest of the IPL teams after failing to win any of their last five games this season. The three-time champions recently suffered defeat at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium against the Chennai Super Kings.

The game between GT and KKR will see the Titans’ in-form batting lineup against the Knight Riders’ spin attack comprising Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine. The 2024 champions have a batting lineup struggling for runs. They will go up against a rejuvenated Prasidh Krishna and Rashid Khan.

Here are 3 player battles for GT vs KKR, Match 25 of IPL 2026:

A lot of eyeballs would be on Cameron Green after KKR’s big-money signing failed to deliver yet again against CSK. The right-handed batter has had his struggles against spin in the shortest format of the game.

This is where his contest versus Rashid Khan becomes important. Green would want to get the better of the Afghanistan superstar, who is in some very good form of late. The Australian has faced just 12 balls from Rashid in the IPL, scoring 11 runs.
