The Lucknow Super Giants take on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Match 23 of the 2026 Indian Premier League.
The Super Giants come into this clash on the back of a loss to the Gujarat Titans at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. They had a torrid game with the bat, with multiple players getting starts but not being able to carry on.
They are rife with stars at the top, and with the addition of George Linde, signed as an injury replacement for Wanindu Hasaranga, they have added much-needed depth to their batting without having to make amends with the strength of their bowling attack. LSG have found balance in their bowling attack, with roles being executed to perfection, but they will need the batting to click to hit the next level.

Both Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram have had good-looking starts this season, but have failed to convert them into big scores. Marsh and Markarm at the top were a key facet of the LSG batting in 2025, with the big-hitting Aussie being the top run-scorer for the Super Giants . The pair will have to get going at the top of the order to compensate for the lack of batting depth and failures of the middle order.Â
Rishabh Pant has settled himself at number 3 for the Super Giants. The skipper got runs against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, but has not been able to maintain his form. He looked in good nick against the Titans but failed to convert it into a score.
