Five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Match 20 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, April 12.

Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians have had a mixed start to their campaign, managing just one win from their first three matches. They began on a positive note with a convincing six-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders, ending the 13-year jinx of losing their season opener. However, things have gone downhill since then, with back-to-back defeats against Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals. Their most recent loss came in a rain-curtailed contest against the Royals, where they fell short by 27 runs.

On the other hand, Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru have looked like a well-rounded side in the early phase of the tournament. They started their season with an impressive win over Sunrisers Hyderabad and followed it up with a dominant 43-run victory against Chennai Super Kings, before suffering their first setback against Rajasthan Royals. Despite the recent loss, RCB have shown great balance, with their batting unit firing collectively and the bowlers delivering at crucial moments.

Mumbai will be desperate to find momentum and get their campaign back on track, but they face a stiff challenge against an in-form RCB outfit.
