Delhi Capitals have had a terrific start to their campaign and would want to continue their purple patch when they face the Gujarat Titans on Wednesday, April 8. This match will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

The Capitals have registered wins against Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians to star their campaign. On the other hand, the Titans have lost both games they have played so far. They were beaten by Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals in hard-fought affairs.

Here is DC’s strongest predicted XI vs GT, Match 14, IPL 2026:

Top Order: Pathum Nissanka, KL Rahul (WK), Nitish Rana

KL Rahul hasn’t hit the ground running in IPL 2026. In two matches, he has registered scores of 0 and 1. Pathum Nissanka, however, showed great form in the last game, as he hit boundaries at will during his 30-ball 44. Nitish Rana has only scored 15 runs in 20 balls and looked scratchy.

Middle Order: Axar Patel (C), Tristan Stubbs, David Miller, Vipraj Nigam

Axar Patel bowled a fine spell in the last game against the Mumbai Indians. He has also led the team commendably. Tristan Stubbs and David Miller are the designated finishers in the side and they took the Capitals home in the previous fixture. Till these two are at the crease in the matches to come, the Capitals will have hope. Vipraj Nigam hasn’t had the chance to bat but he has bowled decently in the two games.

Bowlers: Kuldeep Yadav, Lungi Ngidi, Mukesh Kumar, T Natarajan

Kuldeep Yadav bowled well against Lucknow and bagged two wickets. However, he was taken to the cleaners by the Mumbai batters. Lungi Ngidi has been quite clever with his usage of the slower deliveries. He has picked up four wickets in two games. Mukesh Kumar showed his class in the last game as he dismissed Ryan Rickelton and Tilak Varma inside the power play. He will have a key role to play with the new ball. Meanwhile, T Natarajan has been given the duty of bowling at the death and he has responded well. He could be the bowler to watch out for on Wednesday.
