The quarter-final clash lived up to expectations as both sides delivered an intense and entertaining contest that ultimately required penalties to separate them. Heart of Lions made the breakthrough in the 34th minute when Seedorf Asante produced a superb strike to give the Kpando-based side the lead, sending their supporters into celebration. Just when it appeared the match would end in favour of Lions, Dreams FC responded in dramatic fashion.
