Premier League: Vision FC extend decent run with convincing win as Samartex held by Dreams

Vision FC produced a dominant second-half performance to defeat Berekum Chelsea 3–1 at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Park, stretching their impressive unbeaten run to six matches in the Premier League.

After a lively start to the contest, it was the visitors who threatened first when Jonah Attuquaye forced an early save from Vision goalkeeper Godwin Ametefe. The hosts responded swiftly through Abdul Naseru Sumaila, but both sides were unable to find the breakthrough before halftime.

Vision FC emerged from the break with renewed intensity and quickly turned the match in their favour. Just two minutes into the second half, Setsofia Aqetey opened the scoring after finishing off a well-worked move.

The momentum continued to swing the home side’s way as Ibrahim Larbi doubled the advantage only three minutes later with a clinical finish. Aqetey then struck again moments later to complete his brace and give Vision FC a commanding three-goal cushion.

Berekum Chelsea managed to pull one back with 20 minutes remaining when substitute Vincent Klu Adjei found the net, but the late goal proved little more than a consolation as Vision comfortably held on to secure all three points.

Samartex and Dreams FC share the spoils in Samreboi

In Samreboi, FC Samartex 1996 were held to a goalless draw by Dreams FC in their matchweek 25 clash at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena.

The Timber giants entered the encounter determined to end their recent winless run and dominated large periods of the match, particularly in the opening half. However, they struggled to turn their possession into clear scoring opportunities against a disciplined Dreams defence.

Dreams FC adopted a cautious approach, focusing on defensive organisation while looking to exploit quick counterattacks. Although the visitors created a few promising moments, they also found it difficult to seriously test the Samartex backline.

The pattern continued in the second half, with Samartex pushing forward in search of a breakthrough while Dreams remained resolute at the back.

Despite late pressure from the hosts, Dreams held firm to secure a valuable point on the road.
