England internationals Ollie Lawrence, Sam Underhill and Guy Pepper come back into the starting line-up to face Edinburgh as Bath attempt to tie down top spot in their Champions Cup pool and a home match in the last 16.

Springbok prop Thomas du Toit, who will depart the club in the summer, returns to the front row after missing last weekend’s win over Castres.

Santi Carreras and Ted Hill are among the replacements, while Joe Cokanasiga returns on the wing.

Finn Russell and Ben Spencer continue at half-back, with Lawrence paired with Max Ojomoh in midfield.

Before the final round of matches, Bath are top of Pool Two, one point ahead of Edinburgh, although French side Toulon lurk in third.

Edinburgh have rested Magnus Bradbury for the trip to The Rec, along with Pierre Schoeman, Liam McConnell and Wes Goosen.

Winger Malelili Satala will make his debut after Scotland international Duhan van der Merwe was ruled out with a calf problem.

Ewan Ashman takes over from Harri Morris at hooker and Piers O’Conor slots into the midfield for the injured Matt Currie.

Bath: De Glanville; Cokanasiga, Ojomoh, Lawrence, Arundell; Russell, Spencer (capt); Obano, Dunn, Du Toit, Roux, Molony, Pepper, Underhill, Barbeary.

Replacements: Frost, Van Wyk, Griffin, Hill, Reid, Carr-Smith, Carreras, Redpath

Edinburgh: Paterson, Graham, O’Conor, Lang, Satala, Thompson, Vellacott (capt); Whitcombe, Ashman, Blyth-Lafferty, Hunter-Hill, Young, Dodd, Douglas, Muncaster.

Replacements: Morris, Jones, Hill, McVie, Boyle, Shiel, Healy, Brown.
