One Scottish match off as five face inspections

One match has already been postponed and five others face Saturday morning inspections in the Scottish Professional Football League as people across the country are being warned to prepare for more snow and ice.

Annan Athletic’s home game against Elgin City in League 2 was called off after a 17:00 GMT pitch inspection on Friday.

Games hosted by Greenock Morton and Queen’s Park in the Championship are under threat, with Dunfermline Athletic and leaders St Johnstone the respective visitors.

As is Alloa Athletic against Montrose in League 1.

The top-of-the-table meeting in League 2 between East Kilbride and leaders Spartans, as well as Dumbarton against Clyde, are the other games facing morning inspections.

Scottish Championship

Greenock Morton v Dunfermline Athletic (Saturday 09:00)

Queen’s Park v St Johnstone (Saturday 09:30)

Scottish League 1

Alloa Athletic v Montrose (Saturday 10:00)

Scottish League 2

Annan Athletic P-P Elgin City

Dumbarton v Clyde (Saturday 09:30)

East Kilbride v The Spartans (Saturday 10:30)
