The preliminary round of the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup will kick off on the weekend of 24-27 October 2025, with clubs in the Access Bank Division One League and Regional Division Two clubs competing for a place in the Round of 64.
This year’s edition promises to be full of fireworks as teams like Golden Kick, Attram De Visser, True Democracy, and PAC Academy aim to impress for the second season running, following their notable performances in last year’s campaign. Former champions Okwahu United will face Shalom FC at the Carl Reindorff Park on Saturday, while Sekondi Rospak host Elmina Sharks at the Akoon Park.
There will be a repeat of last season’s semifinal match between Attram De Visser and Golden Kick at the Nania Park on Friday. 2010/11 champions FC Nania will take on 1983 champions Accra Great Olympics in another epic clash. The 18 Ghana Premier League clubs will join the winners of this round in the Round of 64.
