The Black Queens technical team has unveiled the squad list for the 2026 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers against Egypt.

Head coach Kim Lars Björkegren has named a strong 24-player squad, blending experience with emerging talent as Ghana aims to secure qualification for the continental showpiece in Morocco.

Goalkeepers Cynthia Fiindib Konlan and Afi Amenyaku headline the list, while the defensive setup includes solid options such as Captain Portia Boakye, Comfort Yeboah, and Susan Ama Duah.

The midfield will be marshaled by players like Grace Asantewaa, Jennifer Cudjoe, Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, Evelyn Badu, and Stella Nyamekye, offering both creativity and stability.

Former Black Princesses stars Helen Alormenu and Sharon Simpson also make the cut for the first time, adding youthful energy and depth.

In attack, Ghana will rely on the experience of Alice Kusi, Doris Boaduwaa, Princella Adubea, and Mary Amponsah.

Coach Björkegren’s squad features dependable players like Ernestina Abambila, Josephine Bonsu, Nina Norshie, Anasthesia Achiaa, and Louisa Aniwaa, who have all been integral to the team’s recent resurgence.
