The U-17 Women’s National Team, the Black Maidens, are to assemble in Sunyani on Monday, October 6 to begin preparations for upcoming international assignments.

The technical team, led by Joe Nana Adarkwa, has named a provisional 30-player squad to report for camping. The call-up features a blend of promising talents drawn from various clubs across the country, reflecting the Ghana Football Association’s commitment to strengthening the youth development pathway in women’s football.

Among the notable names are Gloria Adomako Ameaa (Ampem Darkoa Ladies), Gloria Owusu (Arm of God Ladies), and Linda Achiaa (Army Ladies), alongside rising stars such as Romina Akolpoka Adombila (Bolga Sharp Arrows) and Grace Nyame (Dreamz Ladies).

The list also includes several players from powerhouse youth clubs such as Epiphany Warriors, Oaks FC, Rootz Sistaz, and Northern City Ladies, who continue to play pivotal roles in nurturing young female talent.

The camping exercise will focus on building team cohesion, tactical discipline, and physical conditioning as the Maidens gear up for the challenges ahead on the international stage.
