The Retired National Footballers Association of Ghana (RENFAG) Oldies League reaches Week 10 this weekend, promising another round of thrilling encounters across the Greater Accra Region.
In Zone A, Teshie Oldies will be eager to bounce back after last week’s 2–0 defeat to Community 2 Oldies, as they look to stay in contention near the top of the standings. Other fixtures in the zone include Nungua Veterans vs. Community 2 Oldies at the Nungua Town Park, Veterans KFC vs. Nii Laryea Oldies at the Twedaase School Park, and East Legon Oldies vs. Nungua Oldies at the Bawaleshie School Park.
Zone B action will see Osu Tenashie face Rangoon Oldies at the Osu Ako-Adjei Park, while Adabraka/Asylum Down meet Accra East Oldies at the McDan La Town Park.
In Zone D, leaders Ashiedu Keteke Oldies put their impressive form on the line against Nii Sabaah Oldies at the Auntie Aku Park. Meanwhile, Ablekuma South square off with Accra Old Stars at the Indafa Park.
Sunday’s fixtures round out the weekend with SCC Oldies hosting Awoshie Oldies at the Arthur Moses Park, and an intriguing clash between Ablekuma Central Oldies and Nima First Oldies at the TCL Park.
With league positions tightening as the season progresses, Week 10 promises plenty of action as the region’s veteran footballers showcase their enduring skill and passion for the beautiful game.
