Premier League: Aduana take on Swedru All Blacks at Dormaa today
SHARE

Aduana FC welcome Premier League returnees Swedru All Blacks to the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Saturday for a Matchday 3 encounter, with both teams chasing a second win of the 2025/26 Premier League season.

After opening their campaign with a narrow 0–1 defeat at Karela United, Aduana bounced back in style, edging Nations FC 1–0 at home last weekend. That victory marked their tenth home goal of 2025 and extended their formidable seven-match winning streak at Dormaa.

Coach Cioba Aristica’s men were nearly untouchable at home last season, losing only three of their 17 fixtures (W10, D4) while scoring a joint league-high 28 goals. With that impressive record and strong home support, the two-time champions will look to assert their dominance once again.

Swedru All Blacks arrive in Dormaa with confidence after a commanding 3–0 triumph over Berekum Chelsea in front of a packed Swedru Sports Stadium, an emphatic statement of intent on their top-flight return. Like Aduana, they hold a balanced record (W1, L1) and will be eager to sustain their momentum on the road.

Head coach Ahmed Ibrahim Fathi knows his side must overcome a significant hurdle. All Blacks are searching for their first away victory in the Premier League in 16 years. Their last triumph on the road came in the 2008/09 season, a memorable 2–0 win over Asante Kotoko. Though they finished as the best away side in Zone Two of the Division One League last term, they closed that campaign with three straight defeats on their travels.

Head-to-Head

This fixture marks the first league meeting at Dormaa between Aduana FC and Swedru All Blacks since the visitors’ promotion back to the Premiership this season.

With Aduana’s formidable home form and the All Blacks’ hunger to rewrite their away history, Saturday’s clash promises a fascinating contest. Dormaa’s faithful will expect their side to extend their winning streak, while Swedru aim to upset the odds and secure a big victory on their Premier League return.
