Agona Swedru came alive on Sunday as Swedru All Blacks United marked their long-awaited return to the  Premier League with a commanding 3–0 victory over Berekum Chelsea, their first home top-flight win in 16 years.

Zayat Bubakari broke the deadlock in the 26th minute before last season’s Division One top scorer, Rudolf Mensah, doubled the lead nine minutes later with a composed finish. Hafix Alhassan sealed the result in the 89th minute, capping a near-perfect performance. Samuel Fosu’s industrious display earned him the Most Valuable Player award and lifted the All Blacks to fourth place in the table.

At the Nsenkyire Arena, FC Samartex were forced to settle for a second consecutive draw. Karela United struck first when Zaidan Mohammed fired home in the 11th minute, a performance that later earned him Man of the Match honours. Samartex remain winless with two points from two matches, while Karela climb to four points and will host league leaders Medeama SC next.

Bechem United 0–0 Basake Holy Stars

Frank Amankwah of Bechem United was named Man of the Match. After two games, Bechem sit 13th and Holy Stars 11th, both still searching for a first win.

Aduana FC 1–0 Nations FC

Aduana FC delivered late drama at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, edging Nations FC 1–0 thanks to an 89th-minute strike from Amponsah Hensen. The forward’s decisive effort delighted the home fans and secured Man of the Match honors. Both clubs now have three points after two matches.
