The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the officiating team for Asante Kotoko’s CAF Confederation Cup preliminary-round first-leg clash against Nigeria’s Kwara United, scheduled for Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Leading the Ivorian officiating crew is Patrick Tanguy Jean Philippe Vlei R, who will serve as centre referee. He will be assisted by compatriots Nouho Ouattara (Assistant Referee I) and Lancine Kone (Assistant Referee II), with Ibrahim Kalilou Traore appointed as fourth official.

In addition, Bakary K. Jammeh of Gambia has been designated as Match Commissioner, while Sanusie Rashid from Sierra Leone will act as Referee Assessor.

The match marks Asante Kotoko’s return to continental competition, as the Porcupine Warriors look to make a strong statement in Africa’s prestigious club tournaments.
