Otto Addo has named Benjamin Asare in post for the 2026 FIFA World Cup clash against Chad. The Accra Hearts of Oak shot-stoper gets the nod for the third consecutive time after facing Chad and Madagascar in March.

Jerome Opoku and Jonas Adjetey will play in central defence for the clash in N’djamena on Thursday. Caleb Yirenkyi who impressed during the Unity Cup in London, will play on the right side of defence with Gideon Mensah deployed on the left.

Elisha Owusu and Abdul Samed Salis will play in the heart of the pitch while Mohammed Kudus play behind captain Jordan Ayew with Inaki Williams and Antoine Semenyo playing on either wing.

This fixture is scheduled for 2pm kick off (1pm in Accra) at Stade Olympique Marechal Idriss Deby Itno on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
